Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Flicky account and what happens to your data when you do.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, personal data is removed or de-identified immediately:

• Saved link URLs and metadata (title, thumbnail, URL)
• Tag names and category information
• Account email and authentication information (including your Google or Apple sign-in connection)
• Subscription receipt data

We may retain limited de-identified operational data, such as the saved link hostname, for service statistics and abuse prevention.

Note on in-app purchases: Flicky blocks account deletion while an active subscription has not been scheduled for cancellation. Please cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings first.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: From the app (Recommended)

This is the fastest way to delete your account.

1. Open the Flicky app
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm in the dialog that appears

Your account will be closed immediately. Personal link URLs, metadata, and account identifiers will be removed. If your account was created with Google or Apple sign-in, Flicky also disconnects that sign-in connection during deletion.

Option 2: By email request

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email.

Send an email to contact@flicky.link with:

• Subject: Account Deletion Request
• Your registered email address

We will process your request within 7 business days.

Important Notes

• Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. There is no grace period or recovery option.
• Limited de-identified operational records may be retained after deletion.
• If you are a guest user (not signed in), your locally stored data can be cleared by uninstalling the app.
