1. Introduction

Welcome to Flicky ("Service", "we", "us", "our"). Flicky is a personal link-aggregation tool that lets you save and organise links to short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.) from across the internet.

By downloading the Flicky app, visiting our website ("Site"), or using any features of the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 14 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) you must have your parent's or legal guardian's consent.

3. Accounts

3.1 Registration. You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your credentials confidential.

3.2 Responsibility. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.3 Termination by you. You may delete your account from the Settings screen. If you have an active subscription that has not been scheduled for cancellation, you must cancel it through the store before deleting your account. When you delete your account, personal data such as saved link URLs, metadata, and account email is removed or de-identified. We may retain limited de-identified operational records for service statistics and abuse prevention. Once deletion is completed, the deleted data cannot be recovered.

4. The Service

4.1 What Flicky does. Flicky allows you to save URLs pointing to third-party videos and displays publicly available metadata (title, description, thumbnail) fetched from those URLs via Open Graph tags and the YouTube Data API. Flicky does not download, store, host, or redistribute any video content.

4.2 Third-party content. Videos remain hosted on their original platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.). Flicky has no control over the availability, accuracy, or legality of such content. We are not responsible if a video is removed or made unavailable by the original platform.

4.3 Platform terms. When you save a link, you remain subject to the terms of service of the original platform. Flicky does not grant any additional rights to access or use third-party content beyond what those platforms allow.

5. User Content

5.1 Your links. The URLs and any notes you save ("User Content") belong to you. By saving User Content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process it solely to operate and improve the Service.

5.2 Prohibited content. You may not save or share links to content that:

  • Infringes another person's copyright, publicity, privacy, trademark, or other rights;
  • Is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or violates any applicable law;
  • Links to unlawful content or encourages unauthorized access to paid or private content;
  • Circumvents platform access controls (e.g. links to private or geo-locked content obtained improperly).

5.3 Prohibited conduct. You may not:

  • Use bots, scripts, scraping, credential stuffing, or other automated methods to abuse the Service;
  • Interfere with or overload the Service, API, infrastructure, or third-party services used by Flicky;
  • Upload, transmit, or link to malware, spam, phishing, or other harmful material;
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, subscription limits, rate limits, or technical restrictions;
  • Reverse-engineer or misuse non-public APIs, tokens, receipts, or platform credentials.

5.4 Enforcement. We reserve the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms or to suspend accounts that repeatedly breach them, without prior notice.

6. Subscription and In-App Purchases

Please read our **Subscription Terms**, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Flicky app and Site (excluding User Content and third-party content) is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on our software or design without our prior written consent.

Open-source components used in the app are licensed under their respective licences, which you can view in Settings → Open Source Licenses inside the app.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE;
  • ANY SPECIFIC VIDEO LINK WILL REMAIN ACCESSIBLE;
  • METADATA RETRIEVED FROM THIRD-PARTY SITES WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 10.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to the Service

We may modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notice or email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

If you are a consumer residing in the EU/EEA, you retain any mandatory consumer-protection rights granted by the laws of your country of residence.
